British Aerospace Canberra B.Mk.2/B.(I).Mk.2 ( Fuerza Aerea Venezolana)

Venezuela was British Aerospace's first overseas customer for the redoubtable Canberra. The Fuera Aerea Venezolana ( FAV) became the major operator of Canberras in South America using Bomber, Interdictor and PR variants.






The first order was place in 1953 for six B.2s with the initial aircraft arriving at Maracay on 1 April 1953.





The FAV equipped two squadrons with Canberras, Esc.38 and Esc.39 of the (Grupo de
bombardeo 13 at Barcelona).



The Venezuelan Canberras were equipped with the full range of air-to-ground weapons including Air to Surface Missiles.



The Model Kit is a 1:48 scale, manufactured by Classic Airfreme, I used decals from LatinoAmerican Canberras 2 multi scale set from Aztec , The color use for this project
are Models Master: the top surfaces were painted in a disruptive pattern of Tan FS30219, Green FS34102, and Dark Green Fs34052, the bottom surfaces were painted in Gray FS 36559.

P-51D Mustang 1:24 scale

P-51D-20-NA "Ridge Runner" flown by Major Pierce W. McKennon, the commander of 335th FS,4th FG, 8th AF at Debden, Essex, England. He scored 12 victories.
